Here come the robots … and they are bringing food with them. At least that’s what started happening at George Mason University’s Fairfax campus earlier this year as 25 robots from Starship Technologies began delivering orders made by students to four Sodexo-contracted food companies. Traveling at about four miles per hour, the robots deliver most orders within 30 minutes. They also have their own social media account,
