• Jane Rhyner retired from John Hopkins University; she was the associate director of student unions. 

ACUI Staff 

• Megan Algood will begin as the new ACUI Procure manager on October 9, working with both customers and vendors of this group-buying program.  
• Steve Chaplin started with ACUI on September 11 as the new assistant editor. Chaplin is working with both the online and print editions of The Bulletin, publications related to the clay targets programs, and more.
• Kelsie Holt will begin as ACUI's new educational program manager on October 2. Holt will be working on events for both ACUI and CSHEMA.
• Alyssa Whitworth started with ACUI as a member services representative on July 31. Whitworth serves on ACUI's front line, helping members via phone and email.  

Death 

• Maria Reyes, former ACUI intern, passed away August 15, 2017. She was a graduate assistant at the University of Utah. A full obituary may be found here.
• Rebecca (Schum) Cooksey passed away September 14, 2017. She worked in finance and administration for ACUI in the 1990s. A full obituary may be found here.
