The Bulletin

Wire Clips is a monthly summary of members who have recently received a promotion at their current institution, been hired at another member institution, received an honor or award, retired, or died—as well as ACUI staff changes. We learn about developments under “New Position” and “New Institution” primarily through ACUI profile updates, so please try to keep your profile updated, especially when you take that exciting next career step! • Terri Budek is now associate director of the Intercultural & Diversity Center at the University at Buffalo (formerly assistant director).
• Roland Bullard is now vice president of student success at Dillard University (formerly director of student activities and Springs Campus Center).

• Lennon Jackson is now chief of operations at Howard University (formerly director of student life and activities).
• Kaila Messerli is now program coordinator, activities and events at Indiana University–Bloomington (formerly Union Board staff advisor).
• Jason Noyes is now assistant director of reservations and event services at Carroll University (formerly campus services operations manager).
• Danielle Poad is now senior event services manager, Overture Center for the Arts at the University of Wisconsin–Madison (formerly campus events coordinator).
• Dementro Powell is now director of the Office of Registered Organizations at the University of Illinois–Urbana-Champaign (formerly assistant director).
• Adriane Reilly is now assistant director of student activities at Temple University (formerly program coordinator for student activities).
• Kim Schwarz is now director of event services at the University of Connecticut (formerly event production manager).
• Jamie Singson is now director of Illini Union at the University of Illinois–Urbana-Champaign (formerly director of Native American House).
• Tim St. John is now assistant dean of campus life at Clark University (formerly director of student leadership and programming).
• Gavin Telfer is now director of student involvement at Southern New Hampshire University (formerly associate director of student involvement).
• Denise Villarreal is now senior events manager at the University of Texas–San Antonio (formerly events manager).

New Institution/Organization

• J. Scott Derrick is now a search associate for Spelman Johnson Executive Search Firm (immediate past president of ACUI and formerly executive director of the Popp Martin Student Union and Cone University Center at the University of North Carolina–Charlotte). He has also resigned from the ACUI Board of Trustees because he is no longer at a member institution as required by Association bylaws. 
• Charles Farrell is now executive director of student centers at the University of Illinois at Chicago (formerly director of university centers at the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire).
• Kevin Hennessy is now University Center coordinator at the University of Texas–Tyler (formerly assistant director of the Ragsdale Center at St. Edward’s University).
• Mitchell Karstens is now executive director of the Atwood Memorial Center at St. Cloud State University (formerly director of student life at Colorado Mesa University).
• Gillian Perry is now assistant director of arts and programs at the University of North Carolina Wilmington (formerly assistant director of student union administration at the University of North Carolina Charlotte).
• Justin Raibolt is now coordinator for student programming, leadership programs at Virginia Commonwealth University (formerly graduate assistant for student involvement at Marquette University).
• Chris Reed is now director of the Oakland Center at Oakland University (formerly director of student centers at Vanderbilt University).
• Scott Shea is now assistant coordinator for student engagement at North Shore Community College (formerly assistant director of events and conferences at Wesleyan University).
