The regional director is an elected position that serves as the chief administrator for the region and as the primary liaison between the association officers, Central Office, other regional directors, project program teams, and member institutions. Applications
for this position will be collected again in 2021.
There are 11 positions on the Regional Leadership Team in each of ACUI’s eight regions, all playing an important role in the success of regional programs and services through
their dedication as volunteers. Applications for open positions on the Region II Leadership Team will be accepted on a rolling basis.
2021 Open Positions
Student members of the Regional Leadership Team serve as a student voice and work with the team to boost student engagement and programming activities. Volunteers in this role gain opportunities for mentorship and professional development through creative
thinking, communication, leadership, and collaboration skills. This position collaborates with the entire Regional Leadership Team, reporting to the regional director, for a one-year term.
Members of these teams collaborate with the regional conference coordinator to plan all needs before, during, and after the regional conference each year. The application for the 2021 Regional Conference Planning team is open until December 11.
Student Ambassador Program
Become an ACUI student ambassador! The purpose of this program is to create a student network throughout our region. It is a great professional development opportunity to engage with other students and discuss what is happening in programming, facilities
and much more.
