Region II Scholarships

Region II offers scholarships that help advance professionals and students through participation in educational events.

 

Please take a moment to review the scholarship guidelines below, gather your materials, and submit an application along with your required documents. Applications are due on a rolling basis. Please see below for applicable programs and deadlines.

Regional Conference Scholarship

Region II is especially proud to offer at least one scholarship covering the registration fee for our Regional Conference. Please note, the scholarship will only cover registration; all travel and lodging costs (as applicable in the 2023-2024 year) will be at the expense of the scholarship winner/institution.

The tentative due date for this scholarship is Friday, September 15, 2023.

This scholarship is available to both professional staff and students. To be considered for this opportunity please respond to three essay questions, as well as provide a letter of support from a colleague or supervisor.

I-LEAD® Registration Scholarship

The Institute for Leadership Education and Development (I-LEAD®) is ACUI's premier student program, designed to emphasize the key concept areas of leadership, community development, and change. I-LEAD® offers an opportunity for college students to focus on personal growth and other issues facing our world. The institute prepares students to develop skills that will serve them as leaders in any situation, regardless of role, organization, or environment.

The tentative I-LEAD scholarship due date is May 26, 2023.

General Scholarship

Region II supports the attendance of ACUI members to ACUI-affiliated programs such as seminars and institutes. Scholarships will cover registration only; all travel and lodging (as applicable in the 2023 year) will be at the expense of the scholarship winner/institution. This year Region will offer scholarships for the following:
