The ACUI Collegiate Clay Target Championship Match Program provides event details for coaches, participants, and guests.

Match Program

The Annual State of the Program and Coaches Meeting will be held on Friday, March 29 at 10 a.m. in the NSCA-NSSA Conference Room. A coach or team representative should attend this meeting. There will be a mandatory safety meeting and new team orientation every day. All participants are required to attend one of these meetings. A MidwayUSA Foundation fundraising representative will be available onsite to review your account and ask questions. Additionally, a full team orientation will be held upon arrival for all new teams attending the nationals program for the first time.

Proposed Event Schedule

  • Monday, March 25 – International Shoot Out Skeet begins
  • Tuesday, March 26 – International Shoot Out Bunker Trap begins; Finals and Awards for International Shoot Skeet; Sporting Clays and Super Sporting Clays begin
  • Wednesday, March 27 – Competition, Finals, and Awards for International Shoot Out Bunker Trap; all other events available
  • Thursday, March 28 – All Events Available and Special Sporting Clays Fundraiser (European-Style Rotation)
  • Friday, March 29 – All Events Available and Special Sporting Clays Fundraiser (European-Style Rotation); Sporting Clay and Super Sporting Awards Ceremony
  • Saturday, March 30 – ACUI International Skeet, ACUI International Wobble Trap, American Trip, and American Skeet conclude; Final Awards Ceremony

Specific shoot times are squadded by the coach/team representative. Tie breakers and finals will be done on the last day of that competition. The ACUI Collegiate Clay Target Match Program for nationals will provide event details for coaches, participants, and guests.


 

Outing: Attend an American Hockey League Game!

Mark Tuesday, March 26, as the time to hit the ice during your visit to San Antonio for the ACUI Collegiate Clay Target Championships. The American Hockey League's San Antonio Rampage take on the Chicago Wolves at 7 p.m. (Central), and ACUI is hosting this great night for family, friends, and competitors visiting San Antonio. National Shooting Complex

The hosts at the National Shooting Complex are top notch, and this event uses nearly all of the 671 acres the complex. It is located in a growing area of San Antonio, and there is often construction, so allow plenty of time on your first day. The complex offers maps to assist with alternative routes when construction is planned. The most used entrance Roft Road, and there are many ways to get to it. Additionally, if you are shooting sporting or super sporting and have already registered and had your safety briefing, you may want to go directly to the course via Gass Road.

San Antonio Airport

The San Antonio International Airport is about 30 minutes away from the National Shooting complex. The hotel complex listed above is on the way to the range from the airport using the I- 410 route. Car rental is readily available and now located adjacent to the terminal.
