Student Affairs Educator Certification (SAEC) is a new, voluntary credential to demonstrate your ongoing learning, competencies, and knowledge in student affairs work, and in six specific functional areas. It was developed collaboratively by student affairs associations, educators, and graduate faculty.

Student Affairs Certification

SAEC offers the ability for individuals to demonstrate competencies and knowledge of student affairs in specific functional areas; increases opportunities for advancement to senior-level leadership roles and managing multiple functional areas; and supports transitions between functional areas.
