 We purchased one about 5 years ago the cost was around $1500 just for the equipment. The CDs are around $10-$15 each depending on what you are getting. I have not found that it was a very worthwhile investment. Mostly this is because we do not have a dedicated area that it is used in which has led us to have to replace many of the componets. Also, the CDs cost a fortune if you are trying to stay somewhat current on music selections. If you have a bar or pub I think it could easily work and enjoyed by many, but if not be forewarned.
