Activity/Service cost ratio

 I'm wondering if there is a standard ratio for funding activities (concerts, activities, etc.) and the ratio to the service side (utilities, staffing, building costs). Here at FSU it looks like for every $1 for activity spent it costs us $2.70 in service. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

 Hello William, Ratios like those you mention (and many more) are available through ACUInfo. If you are not familiar with the program I'd be happy to chat with you; there is also info on the ACUI Web site. These "higher-end" ratios were developed specifically to answer the types of questions you raise, and is a totally free service of ACUI; all you have to do is enter your institution's info.
