Reservation No Show Appeals Process

We have recently implemented a 3 strikes policy for student organizations that fail to show up for space reservation in the Student Center; which eventually results in suspension of privileges for room usage in our facility.

 

The topic has come up in regards to an "Appeals Process" for student groups who would like to appeal possible decisions that are made in this regard.

 

Does anyone currently have something similar to this or would you like to share any thoughts?

 Here at the Houston of Houston - Main Campus have a no show policy that has been around for a while. First time is a warning, second time we charge a room fee. Our policy says that on the third time we may cancel all future event and not allow groups to make reservations for the rest of the academic year. We get very few third no shows and we tend to charge them the fee and tell them if they get a fourth then we will cancel events. There is an appeal process, they groups need to submit a written appeal to the reservation office. I review it and past it up to what was our director for the approving or denying the appeal.
