Hello everyone!
This is a reminder that ED Session Proposals are due June 12th and can be submitted here http://www.acui.org/programs/conference/2012/index.aspx?id=14389
Our association needs some great technology sessions. If you think your union is doing something with technology, please submit a session idea (i think we all have a tendency to think our programs are less interesting and extraordinary than they are).
I'll also be looking for folks to take on flash sessions for the 2012 conference, so let me know personally if you think your session may fit better with a flash session than a full 60 minute session.
Finally, I'm still looking for folks to participate in the flash session webinar series. The goal is to do at least one per month. The first one will be June 2nd at 1pm Eastern and will be on cloud computing in the Union and Student Activities. Register here http://www.acui.org/programs/online/program.aspx?id=15123

Hello folks
Here's a quick note from the 2012 Conference Program Team - Ed Sessions are STILL NEEDED.
Hello colleagues,
Believe it or not, the deadline to submit education session proposals for the 2012 ACUI International Conference in Boston is rapidly approaching. We write to you today because we are particularly interested in receiving submissions from the Technology Community of Practice. In the past, there have been many education sessions focused on the many ways technology impacts our work and past conference evaluations have indicated that more sessions in technology would be welcome. In our effort to provide conference attendees with a well-rounded educational experience, we welcome submissions from you and your colleagues.
Specific areas of interest for the Technology Community of Practice include: technology demonstrations, employee scheduling, space scheduling, student organization/leadership on-line management, gaming, marketing capabilities, social media, and podcasting.Submissions are due June 12 and can be completed online at www.acui.org/boston.
Last reminder - the ACUI 2012 Sessions are due SUNDAY June 12. Let's make sure there are some great technology sessions!
