Happy Friday!

Our alternative spring break program has been struggling to find viable locations for 2011.  We have been looking for service sites that are "all inclusive" - housing, meals, and service projects for a week.  We have had difficulty finding this type of opportunity.  When we do, it's cost $300 - $500 per student for the week (not including transportation) and that's out of our price range.

We are members of Break Away but have not had much success with their site bank.

We're thinking of planning our own ASB to Boston (that's the cheapest place to fly from Milwaukee, WI) and arrange all of our own service projects.  If you happen to be from the Boston area, do you recommend any non-profit agencies to volunteer with or recommend any inexpensive housing options?

We just started a few years ago and have had really good luck with Habitat, they set you up in a church or community center and provide meals and sometimes transportation to and from building site.
