I am in the process of researching a new ticketing system for in house and and online sales for campus events, as the current one is not meeting our needs. I am interested in knowing which systems others have in place (Ticketmaster, tickets.com, University Tickets, or other) as well as usability, functionality, likes, dislikes, yearly ticket volume, and perceived value for associated costs. Any other suggestions or feedback you may have is appreciated.

Melissa, we have used University Tickets for the past several years and couldn't be happier. Steve and the guys over there have been extremely easy to work with and extremely quick at resolving any issues when they come up.

The only thing that took some adjustment on our end is the per ticket pricing structure rather than owning a piece of software outright, but that seems to be the going trend. We had a slight bit of "sticker shock" when we moved from charging our student orgs $.10/ticket to a percentage of the gross; however we gained the ability to sell in-person at multiple locations needing only an internet connection and the addition of online sales complete with campus LDAP authentication so we could offer student, faculty and staff discounts online without worrying about the General Public sneaking in and purchasing the discount tikcets.

Not sure what your using now, but if you can do it, I highly recommend it.
