The University of Nevada, Reno is hosting a Northern Nevada Diversity Summit in the fall with a target audience of high level system and university administrators, school district representatives, community partners, etc.  We are looking for a dynamic and knowledgeable keynote speaker to address increasing the performance and graduation rates for students from historically underepresented populations.  Jose Cruz was at the top of our list, but he is not available.  Do you have any suggestions?

I know of a few diversity speakers who could potentially help.  Kevin Huie from the University of California, Irvine is a good speaker that I've not heard but that I have heard very good things about.  Cody Charles from the University of Kansas is someone who I've heard and think could do a good job.  What you're looking for is fairly specific and I think both could do it so I wanted to give you their names at the very least.
