Please excuse the cross posting, but please respond if you have any information about implementing and using Ad Astra for Student Union and Campus-wide scheduling.  Specifically about how it functions to communicate electronically all service requests, reporting, and most importantly, self-sufficiently handles billing after events.  Would you purchase it again?  If you recently reviewed it, and decided not to go with it, why not?  What did you purchase instead?  Thanks for all of your help!!!

We currently use Ad Astra for our scheduling of union (and auxiliary sites), athletic facilities, and classrooms.  It is pretty straight forward to use but not all that useful if all components are not integrated (web features).

We have to look up each request to see availability and conflicts (across all three administrative units).  We endeavor to alleviate conflicts in scheduling but the ease of this is not very evident.

I've used other programs for scheduling previously and have found them more intuitive but we use Ad Astra and it minimally meets our needs.

Would I purchase it again? Not sure I would but it supposedly is designed to be integrated into our overall data management system (including our student data) but I have not seen the integration nor do I really feel it will be all that effective if the integration does occur.
