Campus Life and Program Management
At Ohio State, we have 20-30 different student organizations who sponsor their own 5K races or walks for various philanthrophies throughout the school year. Due to upcoming construction issues, we are looking to try to consolidate all of these events into 2 large races (one in Fall, one in Spring) that all organizations could participate in and share some of the overhead costs.
Does anyone else do something like this on their campus or have any tips or suggestions? We have brainstormed a list of potential issues with logistics, marketing, sponsorship, donation allocation, etc. but think the benefits could be signifigant.
