Hope everyone's Wednesday is going fantastic.  I wanted to pass along this information about the 2012 conference educational submissions.  I hope that we'll have a strong group of technology sessions, in order to continue to grow the members of our association in the knowledge of this core competency.

Personally, I would be happy to discuss with anyone their ideas for potential sessions (and possibly co-present).

Along with the 2012 conference, I'd also like to see the Technology Community of Practice become a hub for continuing ed within our association about technology.  If you feel that you (professionally or personally) or your staff have something that you're doing especially well, please let me know if you'd consider sharing it with the entire association outside of the annual conference as well.  Along with that, if you have a topic you'd like to see us get more information on, please share that with me personally or in the forum and I'll do my best to help pull something together.

Thanks again for being a part of this community and I look forward to hearing what you all have in mind.

Hi,

The 2012 Boston Conference Planning Team is gearing up for another great conference. We are requesting your help in sharing the message below with members of your region, whether it be through email, Facebook, newsletter or in person. We ask that you encourage people to submit an educational session. Thanks!

Hello Colleagues,

The 2012 Conference Planning Team would like to invite you to submit an education session proposal for Boston 2012.   The theme is "Our Revolution: Relate, Reflect, React.”  It is the hope of the Conference Program Team that education sessions will provide opportunities for members of the association to come together and get to know one another, reflect on the profession’s past and future and to think critically about the challenges that the profession faces today, and to ignite action on our campuses and in our association as we adapt to the ever-changing context within which we work. One of the best resources we have in ACUI is each other, so we hope you will consider sharing your student union knowledge with the rest of us!

Submissions are due June 12 and can be completed online atwww.acui.org/boston.  If you have questions or need more information please contact Barry Bram at BQB7@sa.psu.edu or Nancy Loosle atnancy.loosle@wichita.edu. We hope you will consider submitting a proposal, and we look forward to seeing you in Boston!
