Education and Research Fund Events

The Education and Research Fund is proud to present two ways that you can contribute to the Annual Fund while having fun and winning prizes! Challenge yourself while you raise funds for ACUI’s Education and Research Fund through silent and live auctions and a 5k run/walk. 

Silent and Live Auction

Saturday, Feb. 26 3–6 p.m. Item check-in
Sunday, Feb. 27 8 a.m.–3 p.m. Item check-in
Sunday, Feb. 27 3–6 p.m. Bidding begins  

A silent auction featuring school jerseys, autographed sports memorabilia, gift baskets, jackets, and professional sports team event tickets will run throughout the annual conference.You can help by donating an item or two or you can bid on items. Here's how:

Bid early, and bid often! During the conference, items will be available for bid during the above hours. Stop by frequently to see if your prize is being claimed by someone else—a little friendly competition never hurt!

Your donations to the auction are greatly appreciated. Donate items now that you think your colleagues would love to take home as a prize. New this year: items and item sets donated to the auctions and preregistered by 9 a.m. Feb. 26 will earn valuable, extra Battle of the Region points. No donation is too large. Register your items today!

Submitting your donation is as easy as 1, 2, 3!

1. Bring your donation with you to the conference. Donations can be dropped off in person at the Chicago Ballroom, Level 5 of the Marriott beginning on Saturday, Feb. 26.

2. If you’d like to donate but will not be able to be at the conference (or you just don’t want to lug donations with you on your trip), you can send your item(s) in advance. Items can be shipped to the following address beginning on Jan. 28, but no later than Feb. 23:

Delegates needing to ship materials to arrive after Feb. 23 should ship directly to the Chicago Marriott.

Tuesday, March 1, 6:30 a.m. 

Challenge yourself while you raise funds for ACUI’s Education and Research Fund. Enjoy an invigorating 5k run (or walk!) set against Chicago’s beautiful skyline. Start collecting donations now by using this form that can be turned in prior to the start of the race.

The tentative course route is available in a downloadable pdf or by checking out the WalkJogRun.net website and searching for ACUI 2011! You can personalize the route with your pace and weight to create a picture perfect finish.
