Mentorship Program

Also encouraged to meet prior to, during, and after annual conference
Special invitation; limit 20
Are you new to
ACUI? Do you find yourself looking for someone to talk to about your
career goals? Do you need advice? Sign up to be paired with an ACUI
mentor!
The ACUI Mentorship
Program provides an opportunity for new professionals to create meaningful
relationships with a seasoned ACUI veteran. During this pilot year, 20 seasoned
veterans will be invited to serve as mentors, and new
professionals can sign up to participate as a mentee. The first 20 new professionals
to respond to the invitation will be selected to
participate. The mentors/mentees will be matched prior to the conference and
mentors will be asked to initiate communication and
schedule opportunities to meet in person at the ACUI annual conference in 2010.
At registration, mentors/mentees will receive a lapel pin signifying their
participation in the mentoring program, and the participants will attend a
breakfast Monday morning to learn more about the program and expectations.
New professionals
and graduate students who have registered for the ACUI annual conference will be
contacted to measure interest in the mentor program. For more information,
contact Conference Program Team Member Jill Zambito.
