MTS Seating has adopted and developed the SynerGreen® philosophy. Their entire line of stack, banquet, and restaurant seating has received GreenGuard Indoor Air Quality certification for being low emitting, a characteristic that minimizes levels of indoor pollutants. If LEED certification is your project goal, MTS's GreenGuard certification and recycled-content chairs may help contribute to credits.

Integra manufactures about 80 percent of its upholstered frames with an eco-friendly material that is certified for 100% recovered or recycled wood fiber and has no added formaldehyde. The composite panel is also certified by the LEED Building Rating System by U.S. Green Building Council and supports LEED credits. Integra’s policy of blanket-wrapped shipping eliminates all typical packaging waste. Furniture blankets are returned by the freight companies for reuse and are donated to homeless shelters at end of life.

Da-Lite has achieved GreenGuard certification for the largest number of fabrics in the audio-visual industry. In the Warsaw, Ind., corporate headquarters, the levels of volatile organic compounds were drastically reduced with the final implementation of a low-emission powder-coating paint system. The company also launched the new Da-Lite Screen Green® Exchange Program for recycling old screens replaced with new Da-Lite installations.

High Point Furniture Industries is committed to providing environmentally-conscious product solutions. The company has been working to reduce its carbon footprint and implement green initiatives. They recycle and reuse wherever possible. When viable and acceptable to customers, they incorporate recycled and recyclable materials into their finished products.

Mity-Lite announced that its tables and chairs carry GreenGuard Indoor Air Quality Certification® and GreenGuard Children & Schools Certification SM, awarded by the GreenGuard Environmental Institute. The GreenGuard Certifications signify that Mity-Lite tables and chairs do not contribute to indoor air pollution and meet some of the most stringent chemical emissions standards in the world. In addition, Mity-Lite tables and chairs now help customers contribute to sustainability credits and code sections in LEED, ASHRAE 189.1, Collaborative for High Performance Schools, and other green building rating systems and codes.

Safco has achieved GreenGuard Indoor Air Quality Certification for more than 70% of their product lines. As Safco expands their product lines, they continue to create a more robust offering of GreenGuard Certified products. When products are developed, Safco begins the process of certification as a part of their ongoing environmental initiatives. Through forward thinking, Safco continuously adds to their ever-growing list of GreenGuard Certified workplace furnishings, tables, seating and casegoods.
