Frequently Asked Questions

How does the ordering process work?

First, you will receive a quote for the items you have requested in your Quick Quote form.

After you have received your quote from our sales representative, and you are ready to order, ACUI asks that you obtain a purchasing order from your university’s purchasing office, unless your university does not require this step. In this case, please let us know so we are aware and can place the order.

We will place the order only after you have sent ACUI the purchase order and/or given written confirmation (via email) that the order should be placed.

When do I pay?

Once the item has shipped, we will send you an invoice. We do not receive invoices from our partners until after items have shipped, so it is only then that we are able to invoice you for the total amount, including shipping costs.

How long do orders take?

This depends on variables such as vendor, product, and production. Please let us know when you need the items, and we will do our best to meet your needs.

What if I don’t see the item I’m looking for on your site?

We have resources to find items that are not listed on our site. If possible, please send a photo of what you’re looking for and/or a detailed description of the item to procure@acui.org.
