We are about an year and a half in our new University Center. On our 1st floor we are looking to change the atmosphere to be more student oriented as well as possibly upgrading/changing the way we display Alumni awards and alumni information.

Our Alumni Office would like to see a more digital, possibly interactive area for their information, and students would like to see pictures, calendars, possibly some sort of digital or interactive atmosphere.

If you have incorporated anything like this, please share any thoughts or ideas.

I appreciate any input you can provide.

When we rebuilt our student center a few years back we made a concerted effort to infuse student life decor. We used numerous student life shots throughout the facility both color and sepia as wall covering, window shades, etc.

We also have areas that help connect alumni to the facility with a Leadership wall that calls out names and organizations from the past. A programming area that is designed with a long since gone student hangout and other photos we worked with our university archives to acquire.

It was a big job but paid off in the end. It was our goal that every current and former Mizzou student could find a piece of their college experience in this facility and we have succeeded.
